Your Cortland County weather forecast for Sunday, June 4, 2023:

Cooler air will continue to build into the region today on north winds.

Skies will be sunny throughout the day with just a small chance for a few afternoon fair-weather clouds.

The north wind will blow at up to 10 mph with gusts just over 25 mph.

However, the wind will counteract the sunshine and hold temperatures slightly below average.

Afternoon highs will only reach the upper 60s with a few hilltops staying closer to 65 degrees.

Skies will remain clear this evening until some thin clouds build in well after midnight.

Evening temperatures will drop through the 50s with an overnight low in the mid 40s.

Nighttime wind speeds will drop to around 5 mph, and after midnight, the wind will shift to the northwest.

Monday: More clouds than sun. Maybe some late showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Tuesday: Clouds, some sun, and afternoon showers and a few thunderstorms. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Small chance for a shower, mostly late. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday: Clouds, sun, and scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
