A frontal boundary will approach the region today with an increase in clouds and a few scattered showers.

Much of the day will have more clouds than sun. At times, the sun may filter through the clouds, while at others, it will be hidden.

No rain is expected until a few showers start to pop up as the front begins to move into the area late in the afternoon and especially this evening and overnight.

The rain showers are expected to be small, light, and sporadic. Even areas that get rain will see very low amounts, and some areas will likely be missed altogether.

Winds will be out of the northwest throughout the day with speeds near or slightly over 10 mph. Gusts may get as high as 30 mph at times.

Afternoon temperatures will peak in the low 70s. Temperatures will quickly fall through the 50s this evening and will end up with a low in the upper 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Clouds and some sun with scattered showers and a few afternoon thunderstorms. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Small chance for a shower, mostly late. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday: Clouds, sun, and scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
