Another arrest was made on Monday in connection to an alleged assault that took place at a grocery store during the winter, according to a report.
The victim of the alleged assault told city police that two men “beat him up” and “struck him several times.” According to the report, the victim is a witness against one of the suspects from an undisclosed investigation in January.
Tristen C. Libbey, of Corning, allegedly assisted Kiersten in the assault at the grocery store in February. Tristen, arrested on an outstanding warrant in Corning on Monday, faces the following charges:
- Second-degree Intimidating a victim/witness (Class-D Felony)
- Third-degree assault (Class-A Misdemeanor)
- Fifth-degree conspiracy (Class-A misdemeanor)
Libbey was arraigned and sent to Cortland County Jail. He is due to appear in city court today.
