A weak boundary will remain overhead today as it wobbles north and south across the region.

The boundary will be weaker than yesterday, which should limit the number of showers it produces. Most areas will probably end up dry today, but a few will see some brief, light rain.

Skies should have more breaks of sun than yesterday, though the fair weather clouds that bubble up may become plentiful enough to block most of the sunshine at times.

Winds will be from the east and southeast again today with light speeds around 5 mph.  Top gusts on the day should only be around 20 mph.

Temperatures will top out in the upper 70s this afternoon.

Showers will quickly diminish as the sun sets, but clouds will only increase as an area of low pressure moves north into the Mid-Atlantic. The clouds will be thin, but plentiful, throughout the night.

Evening temperatures will drop back to around 60 degrees with overnight lows reaching the low 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with rain showers possible during the afternoon. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Increasing clouds with some scattered afternoon showers. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs around 80.
