An unsettled weather pattern will continue today with rain possible at almost any time.

That being said, there will be dry periods throughout the day, and certain times will have a greater or lesser chance for rain.

Early and mid-morning rain showers will be possible before a general decline in activity for the late morning and early afternoon.

During the mid and late afternoon, there should be another uptick in precipitation, with scattered to numerous showers and a few thundery downpours.

Rain will dissipate and move east during the evening, though a few more showers may slide through during the overnight.

Locally heavy rain will be the primary risk today, though some localized lightning will also be possible. Severe thunderstorms are not expected.

It will be mild and muggy, with highs in the mid and upper 70s and dewpoints well into the 60s. The moist air will keep evening temperatures in the mid 60s with overnight lows in the low 60s.

Winds will be nearly calm throughout the day and into the nighttime hours.

Monday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs around or just over 80.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms possible. Morning lows near 60 Afternoon highs in the low 70s.
