Construction in the city of Cortland continued on Monday (July 10) with a handful of ongoing projects.

Projects on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) projects. Cortland started working on projects last year.

According to Crown City Rising, construction crews will continue installing water services between Court Street, Groton Avenue and Clinton Avenue. Updates noted there will be no disruptions in water service at this time.

Work will take place on the east and west sides of Main Street. During this work, parking restrictions and sidewalk closures will be in place.

Other projects include renovating the building at 28 Main St. This requires the closure of Orchard Street between Main Street and Haskell Place, which is anticipated to last through Tuesday (July 11).
