High pressure will bring some comfortable weather to the area today.

Skies will be a typical summertime mix of sun and small fair weather clouds.

Precipitation chances are very low. On the offhand chance there is any rain, it should be limited to just a few drips out of the larger clouds.

There may still be a little smoke in the atmosphere, but it should mostly be light smoke above the surface. Air quality should not be a major concern today.

Temperatures will be around 80 degrees this afternoon with dewpoints comfortably in the 50s.

A light northwest wind will blow with speeds around 5 mph.

Tonight, skies will be clear during the evening as temperatures fall through the 60s.

After midnight, some clouds will start to drift through the region and winds will eventually turn to the southeast.

Overnight temperatures should make it down into the mid 50s by Thursday morning.
