The City of Cortland Department of Public Works (DPW) recently began its annual paving program.
In order, the following streets are scheduled to be resurfaced in the near future (all projects are weather permitting):
- North Franklin Street
- East Garfield Street
- The dead ends of Central Avenue and Elm Street
- Cleveland Street
- Front Street
- North and Bower Streets
- Faywood Avenue
- Woodland Avenue and Circle Drive
- Prospect Terrace
Cortland DPW provided details as they conduct paving projects across the city:
“Disruptions should be minor in nature and at least one lane shall be open at all times. However, there will be short term inconveniences in regards to driveway access. Please be patient and thank you for your understanding.
“Please note the (DPW) construction signage that is placed on site prior to the roadwork. This shall alert residents to specific travel restrictions or delays.”
