High pressure will pass overhead today, keeping the weather tranquil.

After a cool start to the day, temperatures will rise steadily thanks to sunny skies this morning.

Gradually, fair weather clouds will bubble up, and some haze from wildfire smoke will drift in. This will reduce the brightness of the sun a bit in the afternoon.

The smoke is expected to remain aloft with no significant air quality impacts expected.

Temperatures will top out in the mid 70s this afternoon with comfortable dewpoints in the 50s.

Winds will remain nearly calm throughout the daytime hours.

Tonight, skies will clear, except for the smoke. Winds will turn to the south and increase, eventually making it over 5 mph.

The south winds will keep temperatures a bit milder, with overnight lows in the mid 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Sun, clouds, and smoke. Maybe a deck of thin clouds late. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs near 80.

Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Maybe an early morning shower. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
