Northwest winds will bring in dry, slightly cooler air today behind yesterday’s cold front.

Clouds are likely this morning and a stray shower may even be possible. Gradually, the clouds will burn off, and some sunshine will result.

The afternoon will have a mix of sun and clouds with a background of hazy wildfire smoke. Much like the last few days, this smoke will only have a slight impact on air quality.

Skies will clear late in the day, not including the lingering smoke, only to have thin clouds build in through the evening and overnight hours.

Northwest winds will blow steadily but lightly with speeds just over 5 mph.

Temperatures will rise into the mid and upper 70s this afternoon. Evening temperatures will slip back to around 60 degrees, and overnight lows will end up in the low 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Sunshine filtered by thin clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs around 80 degrees.

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms, some possibly strong. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs around 80.

Tuesday: A few morning showers. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
