Multiple water service disruptions are scheduled in Cortland this week, as construction in the city rolls on.

According to Crown City Rising, construction crews with CCI will tie the new water mains to the existing water infrastructure at the following locations:

  • Monday (Aug. 7) – Groton Avenue. This will cause water service disruptions between Main Street and Monroe Heights
  • Tuesday (Aug. 8) – North Main Street. This will cause water service disruptions between Main Street and Lincoln Avenue
  • Wednesday (Aug. 9) – Court Street. This will cause water service disruptions between Main Street and Church Street
  • Thursday (Aug. 10) – Orchard Street. This will cause water service disruptions between Main Street and Monroe Heights

Projects on Main Street is the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) projects. Cortland started working on projects last year.
