Low pressure has departed the region and will leave a pleasant day in its wake.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day. The morning may be a bit cloudier, and the late afternoon may clear out more. No precipitation is expected.

Tonight, skies will become mostly clear, though there will be a few thin clouds passing through from time to time. Wildfire smoke may also increase after midnight.

A steady northwest wind will blow with speeds around and occasionally over 10 mph. Top gusts on the day should be between 25-30 mph.

Temperatures will only gain a couple of degrees over yesterday with highs near 70 in the hills and in the low 70s elsewhere.

Tonight, temperatures will quickly drop back into the 50s. However, a southwest wind will develop after midnight, which should help keep temperatures from falling lower than the low and mid 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Wildfire smoke possible. Morning lows in the low and mid 50s. Afternoon highs near 80.

Monday: More clouds than sun. Maybe a brief, passing shower. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
