A portion of a street in the city of Cortland will be closed for the day, according to an update.

According to Crown City Rising, West Court Street between Main Street and Haskell Place will be closed throughout Thursday (Sept. 28) to allow NYSEG to relocate a gas main.

The work on this street could result in additional traffic and around the ongoing Groton Avenue Public Improvement project.

The various projects on Main Street are the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). Cortland started working on projects last year.
