An area of low pressure along the Mid-Atlantic coast will throw some clouds and showers at our area this morning before pulling away this afternoon.

Rain will be spotty and sporadic today. Showers will be scattered and mainly contained to the morning hours. Most areas should see a little rain, but heavy rain is not expected.

The rain will end around midday, but clouds will likely linger at least into the mid-afternoon. Eventually, the sun should start to come out.

Skies this evening will turn mostly clear, though some areas of fog will be possible overnight.

Winds will be light today with speeds around or under 5 mph. The wind direction will mainly be from the east.

High temperatures will take a small step back thanks to the clouds and showers. Look for temperatures to peak in the mid 60s, though some higher elevations may not even get quite that warm.

Evening temperatures will drop to the low 50s with overnight lows not much cooler, coming in around 50 degrees.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs around 70.
