High pressure will bring one more sunny, warm day today before the weather pattern begins to break down.

Sunny skies are expected to dominate from start to finish today. Few, if any, clouds are expected.

Today, the high pressure system will start to move east off the coast of the Mid-Atlantic. This will turn our winds to the south, though wind speeds will remain low around 5 mph.

The south winds will help add another degree or two onto the afternoon highs. Most of the county should be near or above 80 degrees this afternoon.

Tonight, skies will be clear early on. Thin clouds will start to move in, especially after midnight, and will be widespread by Thursday morning.

The increase in clouds and the gentle south wind will keep temperatures warm tonight. Evening temperatures will be in the mid 60s while overnight lows only just make it under 60 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Increasing and thickening clouds. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Cloudy with some late showers possible. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Saturday: Periods of rain, some possibly heavy. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Sunday: Breezy with frequent showers. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs around 50 degrees.
