Southwesterly flow around low pressure over eastern Canada will persist today, keeping most of the active weather out of the region.

The winds will be blustery again today, though not quite as much so as yesterday. Expect wind speeds around 10 mph with gusts around 25 mph.

There should be a fair bit of sunshine today, though plenty of fair weather clouds will also be mixing in. A few of these clouds may bring a couple of scattered showers in the afternoon. For the most part, though, it will not be a rainy day.

The southwest winds will be chilly, holding high temperatures to near 50 degrees in the higher elevations and in the low 50s elsewhere.

Skies will be mostly clear this evening, though some passing patches of small clouds will also be possible from time to time. No precipitation is expected.

Evening temperatures will quickly fall to the low and mid 40s.

After midnight, clouds should increase with winds turn more to the south. This will hold temperatures to the upper 30s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the low and mid 50s.

Wednesday: More clouds than sun. Maybe a morning shower. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the low and mid 50s.

Thursday: Cloudy. Possibly some rain. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Friday: Clouds and some sun. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
