One-lane traffic and a partial road closure have been announced for Friday in the city of Cortland.

According to Crown City Rising, construction crews are working on storm sewer tie-ins on North Main Street. This project will reduce traffic to one lane.

Also for Friday, crews are installing sanitary sewer laterals between Main Street and the Groton Avenue parking lot. This means the road between Main Street and the parking lot will be closed.

Details on the Groton Avenue public improvement project can be found here.

The various projects on Main Street are the city’s continuation of its Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). Cortland started working on projects last year.
