Section III recently announced the seedings and brackets of the upcoming sectional playoff tournaments.
Both Homer and Cortland qualified to participate in their respective sectional playoff tournaments. Below are their current matchups and seedings:
Homer
The Homer Trojans earned the No.6 seed of the Section III Class B Tier 1 playoff tournament after ending their regular season with an overall record of 4-3.
Homer is scheduled to take on 3rd-seeded Central Valley Academy in the first round of the tournament. Central Valley Academy ended their regular season with a 6-2 record.
The game will be played at Central Valley Academy high school on Friday (October 27th) at 6:30pm. (Note: The start time of the game is subject to change).

Cortland
The Cortland Purple Tigers will play in the Section III Class B Tier 2 playoff tournament this week.
Cortland earned the No.3 seed in the tournament after finishing the regular season with a 3-5 record.
The Purple Tigers will play No.2 seed Mexico in the semifinal round of the tournament. Mexico ended their regular season with an overall record of 4-3.
The game will be played at Mexico high school on Thursday (October 26th) at 6pm. (Note: The start time of the game is subject to change).
