A cold front will move through this morning, taking temperatures from mild early on, to closer to average by the afternoon.

Temperatures will be in the low and even mid 60s this morning. During the mid to late morning, the cold front will arrive.

Scattered showers are likely with the front. Most areas will probably see a little rain, but no areas should see heavy or long lasting rain. A few localized pockets may not see any.

The rain showers will only be around for a couple of hours before moving off to the east with the front. The afternoon will be cloudy, but some breaks of sun here and there are possible.

As the front clears the area, northwest winds will develop and increase to around 10 mph.

These winds will bring cool air into the area, and temperatures will drop into the mid 50s during the afternoon hours.

Clouds will rethicken tonight, especially after midnight, out ahead of a new weather system. A few rain showers may move in before the sun is up on Sunday.

Nighttime temperatures will fall back into the low 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Periods of rain likely. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Monday: Cloudy with morning rain tapering to showers and drizzle. Temperatures steady in the mid 40s throughout the day.

Tuesday: Cloudy and chilly. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the low and mid 40s. Trick-or-treat evening temperatures in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Rain likely, possibly with some higher elevation snow mixing in. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.
