Clouds will be thicker today than yesterday as a large weather system draws closer to the region. However, no precipitation will fall in our area until well after midnight tonight.

There may still be a little filtered sunshine at times, but for the most part, it will just be cloudy.

South winds will continue to push mild air into the region. The wind will not be too strong, with speeds near or under 10 mph.

Afternoon temperatures will flirt with 50 degrees, which is about fifteen degrees above average for this time of the year.

Evening temperatures will stick to the 40s as winds pick up a bit. Some hilltops may see a few gusts to 30 mph, still from the south.

The evening will remain cloudy but dry. Scattered showers will start to move in after midnight, and especially toward dawn Sunday. Temperatures overnight will hold steady in the low 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Rain, heavy in the afternoon, turning to snow after sunset with minor to moderate accumulations. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Monday: A few snow showers. Breezy. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
