Man found with $1,000s worth of cocaine, other drugs (County Drug Task Force)

A man was found with $1,000s worth of cocaine and other drugs, according to a report.

A report from the Cortland County Drug Task Force stated that officers served a narcotics warrant at a residence in the village of McGraw on Dec. 22.

According to the report, officers found fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, methadone, a synthetic cathinone (also known as molly), psilocybin, packaging material, scales and an undisclosed amount of money.

The drugs were in possession of Chester L. Burdick, 48, of McGraw. The report stated that the approximate street value of the drugs is $8,000.

Burdick was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class-B Felony), fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class-D Felony), two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a Class-A Misdemeanor) and an unlawful sale, possession and/or use of dangerous substances or synthetic drugs (a Class-A Misdemeanor).

Burdick was processed, arraigned and is now due to appear in court at a later date.
