Varsity Boys Wrestling: Cortland vs. Phoenix

The Cortland Purple Tigers lost to Phoenix in a dual match Wednesday evening with a team score of 60-17.

Varsity Girls Volleyball: Cincinnatus vs. Herkimer

The Cincinnatus Lady Lions defeated Herkimer after three straight sets at Cincinnatus high school Wednesday night. 

With this win, Cincinnatus improved to a 7-1 overall record, and extended their winning streak to five matches. 

Cincinnatus was led by Allyson St. Germain (10 kills, 5 digs & 14 aces), Kaedance Latta (1 kill, 17 assists & 3 aces), and Cassia Schuyler (1 kill, 2 digs & 3 aces). 

Note: Herkimer’s stats were not made available by the time this article was written. 

Cincinnatus’ next match will be against Fabius-Pompey on the road this Friday (January 5th) at 7pm. 

Varsity Girls Volleyball: McGraw vs. Onondaga

The McGraw Lady Eagles improved to a 2-2 record after beating Onondaga on the road after five sets. 

McGraw was led by Remington Stull (5 kills, 2 digs, 2 blocks, 3 assists & 6 aces), Mikenlee Ticknor (4 kills, 3 blocks & 5 aces), and Camdyn Caperton (2 kills, 1 dig & 6 assists).   

Onondaga was led by Rory Doner (10 kills & 5 digs), Leah Schultz (7 kills, 2 blocks, 2 digs & 4 aces), Zoe Power (1 kill, 7 digs & 6 aces), and Skylar Neuser (3 kills, 4 digs & 6 aces). 

Up next, McGraw will host Stockbridge Valley at McGraw high school tonight (January 4th) at 7pm. 

Varsity Boys Bowling: Homer vs. Solvay

The Homer Trojans defeated Solvay with a team score of 7-0 Wednesday evening.
