Low pressure will pull away from the region today, bringing some quieter, but not completely tranquil weather into the area.

Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day. A brief glimpse of sunshine cannot be totally ruled out, especially in the late morning and early afternoon.

Spits of rain and snow will be possible throughout the day. None of the precipitation should be heavy, and individual bouts should be short-lived. No snow accumulation is expected during the daytime hours.

Winds will pick back up somewhat but will be nothing like yesterday. Coming in from the southwest, wind speeds will be near or slightly over 10 mph with an occasional gust near or above 30 mph.

Temperatures will not move much today, hovering in the mid to upper 30s for most of the day. Tonight, temperatures will drop to the low 30s for the evening with an overnight low in the upper 20s.

A few more snow showers will persist through the evening and overnight. Little to no accumulation is expected.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Clouds and a few snow showers. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Friday: Cloudy with snow arriving late, likely turning to rain by evening. Another round of strong southeast winds, though maybe not quite as intense as Tuesday. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon temperatures highs in the mid 30s.

Saturday: Breezy with a few lake effect snow showers possible. Morning temperatures in the upper 30s falling to the low 30s in the afternoon.

Sunday: Lake effect snow showers. Morning lows in the upper 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.
