The final day of January will feature sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures.
Skies will go from a mix of sun and clouds through the morning hours to mostly sunny during the afternoon.
The sunshine will come courtesy of a ribbon of high pressure that will extend from Texas to New England.
A southerly flow will accompany the sunshine with light south and southwest winds throughout the day. Wind speeds will generally be at or below 5 mph.
Temperatures will get a slight boost from this set up with highs mostly in the upper 30s. A few isolated areas could hit 40 degrees.
Tonight, clear skies will persist into the evening hours. With southerly winds continuing, temperatures will only slowly slide back into the mid 30s.
Clouds will then move in during the late evening hours and remain in place through the overnight.
Temperatures will reach a low of around 30 degrees.
