Light snow showers will be possible today as a weak weather system pulls away from the area.

The best chance for snow will be through the morning hours. On and off snow showers are likely but with little to no impact or accumulation.

Precipitation will be less common in the afternoon, but a few spits of snow will still be possible. Some raindrops may mix in at times, too.

Winds will be from the north or north-northwest today with speeds increasing to around 10 mph. Top gusts should clock in around 25 mph.

The wind will prevent temperatures from rising much more than a couple of degrees. Look for highs near or just below 35 degrees with a few hilltops sticking to the low 30s.

Tonight, it will remain cloudy most of the time. A few breaks in the overcast may develop, however, especially after midnight.

Temperatures will drop to the upper 20s early in the evening, then settle in for a low in the low 20s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Early clouds give way to afternoon sun. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 1. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.
