Cincinnatus & McGraw winter volleyball sectional seedings announced

The Section III girls winter volleyball sectional seedings and matchups were announced on Monday (February 5th). Both Cincinnatus and McGraw are scheduled to participate in the Section III Class D Tournament.

Below are Cincinnatus’ and McGraw’s current matchups and seedings:

Cincinnatus

The Cincinnatus Lady Lions earned the No.1 seed in the Section III Class D Tournament after ending their regular season with a 15-2 record. 

The Lady Lions will have a first round bye, and will play in the quarter final round of the tournament at Cincinnatus high school this Friday (February 9th) at 6pm. (Note: start time of the match is subject to change). 

Cincinnatus will play the winner between No.8 seed Faith Heritage and No.9 seed Manlius-Pebble Hill, whose first round match will be played at Faith Heritage high school on Wednesday (February 7th) at 6:30pm.

McGraw

The McGraw Lady Eagles ended their regular season with an overall record of 5-9, earning them the No.10 seed in the Section III Class D Tournament. 

McGraw will play in the first round of the tournament against No.7 seed New York Mills at New York Mills high school on Wednesday (February 7th) at 6pm. (Note: start time of the match is subject to change).
