The campaign began on Friday (Feb. 9) and will run through Sunday (Feb. 11), the day of the big game.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Cortland Police Department and the Village of Homer Police Department are involved in the campaign, as it aims to further reduce the incidence of drunk and impaired driving.
The campaign is one of many statewide initiatives promoted by STOP-DWI New York and Governor Kathy Hochul’s traffic safety committee. The campaign will also target St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and more this year.
