High pressure will keep the weather quiet and cool today.

Early on this morning, a few snow showers off Lake Ontario may linger across the region. These flurries should be light and will not cause any travel issues.

Over time, the flurries will end, and the clouds will begin to break up. During the afternoon, skies should become partly cloudy, then mostly sunny.

Despite the sunshine, it will be a chilly day.

Northwest winds will be blustery with speeds of 10-15 mph and gusts as high as 30-35 mph.

The wind will ensure cool air stays locked in place and most areas will not reach 30 degrees today. Some higher elevations may not get much beyond 25 degrees.

With the wind, it will feel more like the 10s.

Tonight, winds will die down and skies will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear. Evening temperatures will drop through the 20s with an overnight low in the mid 10s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Sunshine early, then increasing clouds with light snow late. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the low 30s.

Friday: More clouds than sun. Some scattered snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 20s.

Saturday: More clouds than sun. Some scattered snow showers. Morning lows in the upper 10s. Afternoon highs in the upper 20s.

Sunday: Cloudy with some snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs near 30.
