A large weather system to our west will spread some clouds into the area today and a few showers tonight.

Clouds will be in place throughout the day. During the morning hours, they may remain thin enough to allow some sunlight to filter through. This will be less likely in the afternoon as the clouds thicken.

A few scattered showers will move in from the west tonight. For the evening, these will be few and far between. After midnight, the rain chances will increase, but some areas may still miss out.

A steady southeast wind will blow throughout the daytime and nighttime hours. Wind speeds will be near or, at times, just over 10 mph. Top gusts will be 20-25 mph.

Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday with highs in the low and mid 50s.

Tonight, temperatures will back through the upper and mid 40s during the evening, ending up with a low in the upper 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
