A weak area of low pressure will approach the area today and pass through tonight.

There will be a small window for a little sun right as it rises this morning. However, a deck of thin clouds will quickly move in and take control of the sky.

Some sunshine may still filter through at first, but the clouds will thicken as the morning wears on.

The afternoon will be cloudy with a few late rain showers possible. Rain will increase during the evening, then flip over to some snow showers after midnight.

A few flurries may linger after sunrise Sunday morning. No more than a light coating of snow on parked cars and grassy surfaces is expected to stick.

Afternoon highs on Saturday will mainly be in the mid 40s, though some southern parts of the county may sneak into the upper 40s. Winds will be light from the northwest with speeds around or just over 5 mph.

Evening temperatures will drop through the 40s and into the 30s, reaching an overnight low in the low 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a few morning flurries. Maybe a little midday sun before new clouds build in. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Tuesday: Increasing rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
