It will be a rather cloudy, yet quiet day as one weather system departs and another begins to make its approach.

The only precipitation expected today will be a few stray flurries during the first part of the morning. These should not have any travel impacts and will only put down a light dusting of white at most.

The best chance for some sun poking through the overcast will come during the midday and early afternoon hours. This will be the transition period as clouds from the first system depart, only to be quickly replaced with clouds from the second.

Mostly cloudy skies will persist through the afternoon, evening, and overnight, but precipitation will remain well to the south over Pennsylvania.

Northwest winds will blow with speeds up to 10 mph during the daytime hours. After sunset, winds will shift to the north, but then become mostly calm.

Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 40s. Evening temperatures will drop through the 40s and into the 30s with an overnight low in the low 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Tuesday: Periods of rain. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Wednesday: Rain and snow showers, becoming all snow at night. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Thursday: Snow showers. Morning lows in near 30. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.
