Our region will experience one more day of gloomy weather from the stubborn low pressure complex that has been impacting our area most of the week.

Skies will be cloudy once again today with occasional spits of light precipitation.

All in all, though, the precipitation should be more sporadic than the past few days. Precipitation will also become less likely as the day goes on and should come to an end completely before sunset.

In fact, there is even a small chance a little sun may break through the overcast just before it sets tonight.

Clouds will break up more significantly after sunset, with partly cloudy skies becoming mostly clear overnight.

A northwest wind will blow steadily today with speeds up to 15 mph and gusts as high as 35 mph. The strongest winds will come during the afternoon.

Temperatures will be a bit warmer than yesterday, but highs will still only manage to make it to the low 40s.

Evening temperatures will be slow to drop but should make it into the mid 30s before midnight. Overnight lows will end up near or just above 30 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Sunny with a few morning fair weather clouds. Morning lows near 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Monday (Eclipse Day): A mix of sun and thin clouds. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Tuesday: Sunny with just a few clouds. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a few showers. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.
