Varsity Girls Lacrosse: Homer Lady Trojans win at home vs. New Hartford

The Homer Lady Trojans defeated New Hartford with a score of 11-7 at Homer high school Friday evening. With this win, Homer improved to an overall record of 4-1. 

This is Homer’s fourth straight home win in the regular season. 

Homer’s goals were scored and assisted by Maria Partis (4 goals), Ella Spanbauer (3 goals, 1 assist & 1 ground ball), Lilly Sorenson (3 goals & 2 ground balls), Taryn Quinn (2 ground balls), Emma Effinger (1 goal), Isabelle Small (1 ground ball), Izzy Tutino (1 ground ball), and Caleigh Stone (1 ground ball). 

New Hartford was led by Natalia Viola (4 goals & 1 assist), Kate Elbrecht (1 goal), Elizabeth Rayhill (1 goal), JoLee McCraith (1 goal), Caitlin Greene (1 assist). 

Homer goalie Aislynn Cobb recorded 10 saves in the game, while Felicia Huang and Alannah Nole combined to make 4 saves. Huang made 3 saves and Nole made 1 save.

Homer’s next game is scheduled to be played against Chittenango this upcoming Thursday (April 11th). The game will be played at Homer high school at 5:30pm.
