Active weather will remain in place as a warm front lifts north this morning and strong winds kick up later in the day.

Rain will be steady for a time this morning before it pushes north. The rain should end by the mid-morning hours.

Once the warm front responsible for the rain clears the area, some breaks of sunshine will be possible.

Temperatures will rise into the mid 60s this afternoon behind the front.

Scattered showers will also begin to redevelop this afternoon, continuing in waves into the evening hours. A few thunderstorms will also be possible, especially tonight.

Winds will continue to increase, with evening and overnight speeds near 20 mph and gusts as high as 50 mph.

Evening temperatures will only drop into the upper 50s with mid 50s by Friday morning.
