County: Individual arrested on multiple warrants

An individual was recently arrested after multiple warrants were issued, according to a report.

The county sheriff’s report stated that on May 5 (2023), Cameron R. Oliver, 23, of Odessa, allegedly damaged and stole merchandise from the Walmart store in Cortlandville.

According to the report, Oliver was arrested and then processed at the county sheriff’s office. It was later discovered that Oliver provided a false name and information to officers.

The report continued by saying that on May 12 (2023), two warrants out of Cortlandville town court and Cortland city court were issued for Oliver’s arrest.

Then, on Tuesday (April 9, 2024), Oliver was arrested on the active warrants. He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny (a felony), fourth-degree criminal mischief (a misdemeanor), first-degree falsifying business records (a felony), second-degree criminal impersonation (a misdemeanor), third-degree forgery (a misdemeanor) and second-degree obstructing governmental administration (a misdemeanor).

Oliver is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville town and Cortland city courts on April 17.
