Low pressure over Canada will continue to impact the weather across our area today.

Precipitation will be steady for much of the day, not coming to an end until the late afternoon.

Most of what falls should be rain, but there could be some wet snow this morning over the higher elevations.

The precipitation will be steady, but on the lighter, drizzly side. Total precipitation amounts throughout the day should be under a quarter of an inch.

Blustery northwest winds will also develop today with gusts frequently over 40 mph.

Temperatures will not be able to rise much with the rain and wind. Highs will mainly be in the low 40s with a few lower elevations creeping towards, but not quite reaching 45 degrees.

Skies will clear out this evening as dry air works into the region. Winds will lessen, too.

Evening temperatures will drop into the upper 30s.

After midnight, winds will turn to the west or southwest and some new clouds will begin to move in. Temperatures should only loose a couple more degrees for a low in the mid 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Some afternoon showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower. Morning near 40. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Tuesday: Increasing and thickening clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
