A quick moving low pressure system will push a warm front into the area this morning and a cold front this afternoon.

There will be some scattered showers along the warm front during the morning hours. A rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out, either. Much of the time, it will probably not be raining, though.

Showers and a few thunderstorms will again be possible during the afternoon. These will especially be likely during the middle of the afternoon, and could have some heavy downpours, gusty winds, and small hail.

Outside of the rain, it will remain rather cloudy, but a few glimpses of sunshine may be possible.

Winds will be from the south this morning but will turn light and variable in the afternoon.

Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s or low 60s, depending on how much sun breaks out and how far through the area the warm front makes it.

Tonight, clouds will break up somewhat, but a few more stray showers will be possible early on.

Temperatures will drop through the 50s during the evening, then to a low in the mid 40s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Tuesday: Sunny with a few afternoon clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers and maybe a few thunderstorms. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Thursday: Scattered showers, especially early. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs near 60.
