DWI arrest, larcenies and more (County Sheriff's Blotter)

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office recently released arrest reports for DWI and a couple of larcenies. 

Below are the reports:

Jaret D. Carr

Carr, 25, of Groton, was arrested during the late-evening hours of Friday (April 20).

The county sheriff’s report stated that officers conducted a traffic stop for Carr on McLean Road in Cortlandville. Carr was allegedly found to be driving while intoxicated, the report added.

Carr was charged with DWI and aggravated driving while intoxicated (misdemeanors), and for failure to stop at a steady red signal (a violation). He was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on May 6.

Jessie J. Miller

Miller, 56, of Cortlandville, was arrested on Sunday (April 21).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Miller allegedly stole merchandise from the Walmart store in Cortlandville. Miller was charged with petit larceny, a Class-A Misdemeanor.

Miller was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on May 6.

Jeremy C. Peterson

Peterson, 44, of Whitney Point, was arrested on Saturday (April 20).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Peterson allegedly stole merchandise from the Walmart store in Cortlandville. Peterson was charged with petit larceny, a Class-A Misdemeanor.

Peterson was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on April 29.
