A slow moving frontal boundary will push across the Great Lakes today, but high pressure over New England will work hard to keep it at bay.

Much of the day should have at least partial sunshine. Mainly thin clouds out ahead of the front will also be present. At times, the sun may be filtered by the clouds, while other times the sun will seem to win out.

No rain is expected during the daytime hours, or even during the evening. A few showers may start to move in after midnight, however, with a small chance for a thunderstorm.

A southeast wind will take hold between the front and the high pressure system.

Wind speeds will remain under 10 mph during the daytime hours but will increase to around 10 mph during the nighttime hours.

Afternoon temperatures will top out in the mid 70s. Evening temperatures will drop through the 60s with an overnight low around 50 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Rain showers likely, especially through the afternoon. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs near 60.

Sunday: Morning clouds and maybe a few showers. Mostly cloudy during the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Tuesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.
