Today will be the pick day of the holiday weekend with high pressure passing through.

No rain is expected today. Skies will be a pleasant mix of sunshine and small clouds.

Even the wind will be light, with speeds under 5 mph most of the day and variable wind direction. At times, the wind will be completely calm.

Afternoon highs will rise into the mid 70s with a few pockets of upper 70s.

It will not be humid, with dewpoints sticking to the mid and upper 50s.

Skies will remain mixed early this evening, but then some more widespread thin cloud cover will start to build in.

There may even be a few showers or thunderstorms as dawn approaches Monday morning as a warm front lifts through the area.

Evening temperatures will drop back through the 60s with an overnight low around 60 degrees.

Monday: Showers and storms likely. Watching the potential for stronger storms. Blustery winds, even outside of any thunderstorms. Morning lows around 60. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Tuesday: Cloudy with scattered showers. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Wednesday: Cloudy with scattered showers. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday: Morning clouds and a few showers. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.
