Cortland-Homer ice hockey remains in top 10 of state rankings

For the fourth-straight week, the Cortland-Homer ice hockey team is in the top 10 of the New York State Sportswriters Association rankings.

The Golden Eagles (13-2) comes in at No. 7 in this week’s Division II state rankings, the third-straight week the squad has been in that specific spot.

Cortland-Homer faces Auburn in back-to-back games this week, once on the road today at 6 p.m., and the other on its home ice at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Other Section III Division II teams ranked in the state are Skaneateles at No. 4 and CBA/J-D at No. 11. The section’s ranked Division I squads are West Genesee at No. 8 and Baldwinsville at No. 10.
